it was a tranditional folk custom of 野柳fish harbor of north Taiwan,on Chinese lunar year of Jan 15 morning,the resident of 野柳,they celebrated the god to bless them a plentiful harvest of fish catched,so they took place a special ceremony of carring the god sedan chair to jump into the sea , and also run cross the fire ground ,The activity was very interesting and attracted many tourist and photographiers to visit
